Entry for the Redot Gam Jam

You are a nanite cluster (unfortunately flightless), far too small to stand against the approaching horde of monstrosities from beyond the stars.

But you are big enough to operate a mech's controls. And this one has a gun.

GOAL: Survive as long as you can, kill as many aliens as you can, and escape.

Controls with WASD/Arrow Keys. Jump on the buttons to activate them. Most require energy, so if you run out, use the charge button. But don't overdo it, it has a chance of causing an error that locks up your console. Fortunately, there is a clear error button to the left. On the far right is your fire weapon button, use that whenever they are on the screen. Maneuver them onto the screen using the left and right turn buttons, and the provided on screen compass to see where the aliens are, and your current orientation. Escape chute is to the left.

Very silly, I love it. You could do a lot with the concept

Neat concept and I always love mechs! I had some strange issues where I’d get multiple buttons pushed down simultaneously.

The Caution button on the far left will release your buttons, and then you can jump on the L or R button to stop spinning around.

Thanks for the feedback!

I added a better indication that this is intended behavior. Using the charge button has an increasing chance of causing an error that locks up controls, and must be cleared with the error button. Now, an alarm plays, and the error button label flashes until the error is cleared.

Ahhh okay that makes more sense. Definitely was confused.
